Curated by Premjish Achari, Inheritors of Earth invites viewers into the relational world of plants — entities long treated as backdrop, resource or specimen rather than co-inhabitants of the earth. Through paintings, photographs, drawings, videos and installations, the exhibition traces colonial botanical migrations, mangroves, forests, plantation crops and urban trees, honouring uncredited knowledge-keepers, with a reading room drawn from the Shared Ecologies archive, poetry and audio narration by Manuel Mata, a seating installation by Sweety Chakma and a soundscape by Ben Goldfarb.
