MEZOK
A mountain that makes wishes come true — and the bureaucratic red tape that ties it together through an endless maze of application forms, identity cards, permits, licences and token numbers. MEZOK moves through multiple corporal narratives using the table as set and co-actor, with gestures, sounds, chants, songs and spoken text, evoking the maze of systems and processes we navigate carrying our dreams and desires. Devised and performed by Ambika Kamal, Jai Prakash Kumar, Naveen Kumar J, Pranshu Shrimali, Pranjal Vaid and Tsering Lhamo; written and directed by Jyoti Dogra. Produced by G5A Forum and Jyoti Dogra, supported by BNP Paribas.
